In the 80’s, I remember reading and writing being taught in such a boring way. They wanted to force us to read fiction that was so impossible, it rivaled an LSD trip. For writing, they wanted us to adhere to very numerous and strict rules. In my opinion, far to many for young person to concern themselves with. It believe their methods hindered me.
