Oh The Audacity For Someone Not To Like Canon

I was initially gob smacked when Ivor Rackham criticized my favorite camera company, Canon in this fstopper article. He mentioned that Canon lags in the race for technology advancements, but above all, he said they’re UGLY! Ugly, I tell you. Ivor, you are mean. Also, you’re right. Also, I don’t care and I think you’ll be ok with that when I talk about what we do agree on.

By the way, after reading Ivor’s article and looking at his photography, I found that he’s really good. You can see Ivor Rackham’s photos here.

Ivor’s certainly not the first to criticize Canon. The Angry Photographer once said that he disliked their lens lineup. He mentioned that they lost a bid with NASA because their lenses were so poor quality that they would crack on the trip to the moon. I laughed hard because I don’t plan on a moon trip. Their lenses are fine for the most part. He’s moved on from camera reviews now.
