Do you remember when we were still training children to be industrial robots? I think we still are. We're on the verge of having robots now. Why would we be trying to train human robots?

Education should be the first and foremost thought when you think of artificial intelligence. It has the ability to dramatically speed up the learning process. The current educators seem to be resistant to that. Maybe, it's just a human condition of being afraid of change? Maybe it's something I don't understand?

I'm not an educator. I'm also not an idiot. There are obvious uses for artificial intelligence that they are ignoring. We should explore ways that AI can be used.

Artificial intelligence has new methods to learn. One of the first is personalizing learning and customizing content and the pace of learning. You're no longer trying to get a classroom of 30 children to work together to learn at the same pace. Expecting the same good results.

Intelligent tutoring can change how a person learns. There can be automatic feedback and support. The cost of the tutor is virtually nothing. And the tutor can work at the exact same speed that the student can go.
